A Message from America

I received a message from a reader in America. They had asked a book reading group on Facebook for recommendations and I had responded amongst many others. I actually do a lot of this when I have the opportunity, but most of the replies I make do not provoke this kind of response.

It seems that the prospective reader wanted a dystopian adventure, they were trying something a little different. My reply caught their attention and they looked at my novel, Eugenica. It is dystopian and it is a little different. They decided to buy the paperback even though I had offered to give them a free ebook download. Apparently, they just prefer the real book!

It is always great to hear from a reader, but usually they make contact after they have read the book. This reader wanted to share their excitement of buying it with me! It is moments like this that make all the hard work seem worthwhile.
